Pear Vodka

Sweet, juicy pears lend a unique flavor to many recipes, including cocktails. To create a perfect pear-flavored cocktail, you can either add pieces of the fruit or use pear juice. Or, you can make it even better by using pear vodka. Although there are many brands on the market, you can choose to make your own pear vodka at home. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a unique infused vodka that will be the star of your cocktail recipes. Wash and dry your favorite pear and add it to a large glass container along with a bottle of your preferred brand of vodka. Seal the container and allow the mixture to sit for a minimum of one month before using.
