Ever since the Bishops of the Abbey made their home at the Château de Larresingle (now owned by the Papelorey family) since the 13th century, Armagnac Larressingle has been produced continuously and its fame has spread throughout the world. The Papelorey family, beyond its ownership of the Château de Larressingle, is proprietor of extensive cellars housed in an ancient Carmelite Convent in Condom. Following generations of tradition, they continue to make judicious selections of the essential elements that will produce an Armagnac of consistent excellence, faithful to its heritage.
