Glen Rothes Single Malt Scotch Vintage 1972

The introduction of The Glenrothes Vintage 1972 has been long awaited by those familiar with previous Vintages. Bottled in 2004, the total volumes amount to no more than 50 casks, all hand selected from this one year by the Master Distiller following extensive tastings. Many casks were rejected and only the best chosen, deemed to be at their peak maturity. The result is a Glenrothes Single Speyside Malt Whisky of great nobility and elegance, still retaining the hallmark fruitness of the younger expressions, rich, complex, and reassuringly smooth with a mature and well-balanced full flavour.
