The El Dorado Demerara Cream Liqueur is carefully crafted by Demerara Distillers Limited from the finest stock of aged Demerara Rums and the best dairy creams.
This unique rum and chocolate based liqueur is produced in an attractive 750ml amber coloured bottle. The Demerara Rum that is added to augment its flavour creates an alcoholic strength of 16.5%. The subtle colours chosen for the labels enhance the simplicity of the package that adds to its attractiveness. The traditional maritime ship logo displayed on the front label announces its association with the world famous El Dorado Rums.
The Rum Cream Liqueur achieved the Gold Award at International Rum Festival held in Newfoundland, Canada. In 2002, it was recognized as the best rum cream in its category by the Chicago Beverage Testing Institute with an exceptional 92 points out of a possible 100. It was described as "Taupe. Sweet vanilla, nougat and coconut cream aromas are very attractive. A plush entry leads to a sweetish, full-bodied palate with rich, toasted nuts and coconuts, fresh cream, and brown spice flavours. Finishes with a long fade of delicious, creamy flavours and a breath of fine rum. A lively, excellent balance of rich nutty flavour and creamy texture."
