Appearance: Rich toffee with hints of amber. Bouquet: Coffee, anise and toffee aromas are evident on the nose. Palate: This dark, viscous and hugely concentrated wine displays a complex array of flavours suggesting coffee, soy sauce, black olives and even vegemite undertones. All this is accompanied by complex aged characters from oak maturation in small barrels for an average of 8 years. The finish is long and luscious.
