The Provenance Since our family owned company was established 50 years ago, we have built an extensive stockholding of young and old Single Malt Scotch Whiskies for our different selected Premium Scotches. From these reserves, we have selected this specific distillate as a particular favorite of our Malt-Master. -Douglas McGibbon Tasting Notes This normal rich, amber colored Malt has been further deepened due to its maturity in a Sherry butt. Its performance on the nose and palate is accentuated by the Sherry influence to what is now a very big, rich, after dinner Malt. It is complex and full, sweet and nutty, chocolatey and Malty on the nose, palate and finish.
