Ansan Honorable Blanco Tequila
Famed for its lush, tropical landscape punctuated by savannas and temperate forests, the Mexico state of Jalisco is framed by the beautiful Pacific shore on one side, and the Sierra Madre mountain ranges on the other. Within this exotic setting exists a soil that strengthens and nurtures the Blue Agave Tequilana Weber, a unique plant capable of producing the legendary spirit of Tequila. Tequila has existed south of the border since the early 1700s, when Spaniards began distilling the Indian beverage pulque. Tequila has gained respectability over the last few years, and is fast becoming the newest discovery by sophisticates of the international dining and drinking scene. A few treasures are emerging which are produced in traditional ways, with meticulous attention to high quality cultivation and production practices. ANSAN is one such company.
