Drink Type: Shooter
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz. Grenadine
- 1/2 oz. 151 Proof Rum
- 1/2 oz. Midori
Instructions
Layer in order (grenadine at the bottom) in a shot glass.
Apparetnly the Wounded Dragon was was created in 1981 by Bob Yarbrough from Fredericksburg ,Va. He was experimenting with the molecular density of liquers and happened upon this combination. At first it was derived from the Green Lizard, but after he mixed it up, he thought "damn this is badder than a lizard (151)Gotta be a "Dragon" " Since he was relatively new at layering, sometimes the grenadine bled into the Midori-hence the Wounded Dragon!
