Drink Type: Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 2/3 oz. Bacardi White Rum
- 2/3 oz. Suze
- 1/3 oz. Skinos Mastiha Spirit
- 1 tsp. Grenadine
- 3 dash(es) Abbotts Aromatic Bitters
Instructions
Stir with ice into a mixing glass and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a mint sprig or leaf.
My source of inspiration was the city of Smyrna itself as well as its people, the Greeks who lived there until 1922 when they were violently deported by the Turkish army. The events of Smyrna bears great resemblance with the eviction of the Bacardi family from Cuba in 1960.
